When certain events and situations occur in life unexpectedly, we get caught off guard. What makes these events 'life-changing', whether they are good or bad, is the way we respond to these events. Good events bring us happiness, hope, and excitement. Bad events make us feel miserable, lost, and distressed. However, sometimes bad events happen because God wants us to push all our confidence in Him to the extreme limit. He wants to see how we would respond to Him, whether we would give all our trust and faith in Him. We constantly ask, 'Why God, why?!' These are the trials that we go through. These trials may seem harsh and difficult to understand especially when we are feeling distraught, BUT remember, these are occasions for us to put all our faith in Him to show that we love Him. All He wants from us is our confidence and love in Him. God will respond back, upon seeing the way we respond and the way we treat Him. However, even though we don't give God the attention He deserves, He still gives us the most beautiful blessings in our lives. Why? Because God is all loving, all generous, and all forgiving. He always gives us more opportunities or chances to love Him, because He loves us. When we are given second, third, fourth, numerous chances in life, He is constantly calling and asking us ''Do you want to live or not? Here is your chance. Have faith and believe in Me. LIVE in ME.''
We cannot take these opportunities for granted, while we are still alive. To reject God is to reject our invitation to live in Heaven. As blunt as it sounds, this is the Truth that a lot ignore.
To LIVE, we must eat the Bread of Life, who is Jesus. We need to accept Him to nourish our life. When the Bread of Life feeds us, we can conquer any trials that will come our way.
Waking up to a new day is an opportunity for us to accept Him, to get to know Him, and to renew our life with Him. He is inviting us to live a life that will lead us to our salvation; a life of unending peace and happiness, where there will be absolutely no suffering.
[Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)]
So starting today, think deeply and sincerely. Take your time to reflect and take a serious look at your life. Pray.
Is there something that you want or need to change in your life? If so, how will you respond or will you respond at all?
Do you want to live your life in Jesus Christ or not?
My love & prayers are with you,
Elena =*)
